Compact by Design is an initiative we have created to identify products that, despite not always looking markedly different, possess a more efficient design. Through the removal of excess air and water, these products require less packaging and become more efficient to ship. At scale, these minor differences in product size and weight translate to significant reductions in carbon emissions.

The focus of this effort is on sustainability, as small changes in product size and weight can lead to lower carbon footprints. Here are just a few of the many ways products can qualify for the Compact by Design designation:
